Any standard 510-thread battery fits. If you are using a pod or an all-in-one instead, you do not need a separate battery at all.
Usually the connection. Check the battery is charged and switched on, then check the contact point where the cartridge meets it; residue there is the most common cause. If it still will not fire, ask at the dispensary counter.
Use the cable it came with, take it off the charger once full, and keep it out of extreme heat or cold. Most batteries last far longer with those three habits than without.
